Descriptions

A city in central Anatolia.
Sebasteia, modern Sivas, was the metropolis of the late Roman province of Armenia prima. In 575/6, it was sacked by a Persian army under Khosrow himself, as recorded in Joh. Eph., EH 6.8.8
