“The Sasanian king Khosrow built a new city close to his capital Ctesiphon for the Roman civilians he deported into his empire. Founded soon after the sack of Antioch in 540, he called it 'the better Antioch of Khosrow'. Joh. Eph., EH 6.19, reports that Roman prisoners were still brought there in the late 570s.” 1
