The modern Yassiada, in Greek called Plate or Plateia. This is one of the Princes' Islands close to Constantinople where recalcitrant clerics were frequently sent into exile in Late Antiquity and the Byzantine period. Joh. Eph., EH 1.16, notes that the miaphysite bishop Stephen of Cyprus was maltreated there.3
