Damian, patriarch of Alexandria - [ Syriac Not Available ]

In hagiography: Damian was patriarch of Alexandria. He sent a letter to Jacob Baradaeus hoping for communion between the churches. He visited Antioch but broke from the Patriarch of Antioch, Peter of Callinicus, because of the Tritheist controversy. This schism ended with the patriarchate of Athanasius I Gamolo.
