A lawyer from Antioch who took refuge in Palestine from the pro-Chalcedonian bishop Calendion and who became a disciple and close friend of Peter the Iberian. He is known from the life of Peter the Iberian [http://syriaca.org/work/928] and was acquainted with its author.2
