Cours - ܩܘܪܝܣ

The sources call Cours a man of 'scythic' origin. He was commander of the Roman troops in Armenia from 574 to 582 and defeated the Persians in battle in 579 together with John Mystacon, as reported in Joh. Eph., EH 6.28.3
