“ܒܛܘܪܥܰܒܕܝܢ ܡܶܣܬܒܰܪ ܘܡܶܬܐܡܰܪ ܗܘܐ ܠܗ ܕܒܶܝܬ ܓܘܳܓܝ ܘܥܰܡܝܪ ܗܘܳܐ ܒܪܝܫܳܐ ܕܡܰܐܬܐ ܫܬܝܬܳܝܬܐ. ܘܥܰܠ ܫܶܬܶܐܣܰܘ̈ܗܝ ܐܶܬܒܢܺܝ ܕܰܝܪܳܐ ܕܐܰܒܪܗܡ ܟܰܫܟܳܪܝܐ ܢܰܣܛܘܽܪܝܢܳܐ. ܟܶܢ ܐܰܚܕܽܘܗܝ ܣܘܪ̈ܝܳܝܐ ܒܪܝܫܗ ܕܕܳܪܐ ܕܰܬܫܰܥܣܪ ܐܰܟܡܳܐ ܕܐܶܚܰܕܘ ܕܰܝܪܐ ܕܡܳܪܝ ܝܘܚܰܢܢ ܛܰܝܳܝܐ ܕܩܰܪܝܒ ܠܕܰܝܪܐ ܕܡܳܪܝ ܐܰܘܓܝܢ ܒܳܬܪ ܕܐܶܣܬܰܦܰܩܘ ܗܘܰܘ ܘܰܚܪܶܒܘ ܘܫܰܟܠܶܠܘ ܐܢܘܢ” 1
“وتلفظ كافه كالجيم المصرية، يظن في طورعبدين ويقال له ديربيت كوكي كان عامرا صدر المئة السادسة، وعلى رسومه بني دير ابرهيم الكشكري النسطوري، ثم استولى عليه السريان صدر القرن التاسع عشر كما استولوا على دير يوحنا الطائي المجاور لدير مار اوجين بعد خلائهما وخرابهما فعمروها.” 2
“believed to be in Tur ʿAbdin, was also called Beth Gugi Monastery. It remained active until the beginning of the sixth century, but then was deserted. On its ruins the Nestorian monastery of Abraham of Kashkar was built, but it was regained by the Syrians at the beginning of the nineteenth century. They also regained possession of the Monastery of St. John Ṭayoyo, near the Monastery of St. Eugene, and renovated both of these monasteries.” 3
