“ܒܫܢܬ ܬܪܬܝܢ ܕܘܪܗܪܢ ܡܠܟܐ ܦܪܣܝܐ: ܣܗܕܘܬܗ ܕܛܘܒܢܐ ܡܗܪܫܒܘܪ ܡܬܚܬܡܐ ܗܘ̣ܬ: ܗܢܐ ܕܐܝܬܘܗܝ ܗܘ̣ܐ ܒܓܢܣܗ ܝܕܝܥܐ: ܘܒܛܘܗܡܗ ܪܫܢܐ.” 1
“La deuxième année de Bahram roi de Perse, fut achevé le martyre du bienheureux Méharshabour, qui était d’une famille connue et dirigeante.” 1

“Ils coururent vite et apprirent au juge comment ils avaient trouvé la fosse illuminée par une lumière glorieuse et l’illustre saint agenouillé et priant, mais sans vie. L’illustre saint fut couronné un samedi du mois de Teshrî I.” 1
