“Le bienheureux Antoine était par sa famille Égyptien, d’extraction noble et, conformément à sa fortune, il possédait des esclaves. Il avait des parents croyants, et dès sa plus tendre enfance il grandit dans la crainte de notre Seigneur.” 1

“Le fait montre que ce ne sont pas des dieux, car voilà, ils sont méprisés et piétinés comme des menteurs, et ils sont expulsés comme des brigands et des destructeurs en tout lieu par les croyants. Fin avec l’aide de notre Seigneur de l’histoire… Seigneur des vainqueurs.” 1
